Spotting Your Most Popular Products Through Search

In any eCommerce business scenario, it’s easy to guess what products are selling well, but most of the times, you can’t get the minute data like views or searches and so on. The good news is, you don’t have to guess these anymore when you already have Fynq downloaded. With Fynq’s analytics, you can actually see what your customers are searching for and which products are catching their attention.
This isn’t just interesting; it’s actionable. Once you know what people are drawn to, you can use that insight to shape everything from homepage banners to ad campaigns.
If you are still not learned about the Analytics page functions, first go through these 2 articles:

Start with the search behavior
Head into the All Searches tab. This shows you every term your customers typed into the search bar. If you notice certain keywords appearing frequently, that’s your first sign: people are actively looking for these types of products.

Now take a look at the Products Viewed tab. This shows what customers actually clicked on after searching. The combination of what people search for and what they click on is a strong signal of demand.
Here’s what to look for:
- Are certain products being viewed again and again?
- Are these views coming from the same search term?
- Do these searches reflect current trends or seasons?
If a hoodie shows up every time someone types “sweater,” that tells you it’s working, both in search relevance and visual appeal.
How this helps your store
Once you’ve identified what’s popular in search:
- Feature those products more prominently on your storefront, homepage, or banners.
- Use them in promotions or bundles. They already have customer interest.
- Check stock and variants. Don’t let a best-performing product go out of stock unnoticed.
- Create similar listings if it’s clear a style or product type is in demand.
Also, try a brief research: What keywords (or search terms) are leading to these clicks? Are those terms present in other listings? Could you apply the same formula to underperforming products? If so, take the best action possible.
Final thought
Understanding what’s trending in your store doesn’t need to come from assumption. Fynq’s search behavior data gives you a clear view into what shoppers are interested in. All you need to do is look, and then use that insight to spotlight the products your customers already love.
